What a great job they did. Kept us informed with pictures and messages throughout the sit. They are extremely organized and left the house spotless. Happy kitties, happy people. I would have them sit for me anytime.

This is the first time we have used TrustedHousesitters. We were a little nervous at first. The idea of leaving our dog and house in the care of total strangers was daunting; however, once we had made the initial contact with John and Susan we immediately had a good feeling. We skyped and talked and exchanged emails before making the final decision. I must say it was the right decision. From the moment we confirmed the dates they both helped us to prepare for their arrival. They made suggestions and even sent us a preparation list of the things they would need to know. It was helpful as I took it for granted that things that we take for granted such as using the washing machine still needed to have instructions for new people, and things such as where the fuse box and mains water tap was. They kept in regular contact until they arrived. They came a few days before hand so that we could explain everything and we instantly warmed to them. It was like we had known them for years. Susan immediately helped prepare food which helped her get familiar with the kitchen. They reminded us of anything else we had forgotten. They even suggested packing tips which was very helpful. Rufus took to them instantly and when we took them to our usual walks they knew his routine. They were keen to meet our friends and we knew we could go away on holiday without worrying about home. We had gone to the vets on the day arrived and so took them with us so they knew who our vet was. Our vet suggested that Rufus should go on a diet and they adhered to the vets’ suggestion. On our return Rufus had lost a little weight and had got into a new routine which we are now going to adhere to, Thank you both for this. Both of them have a great deal of experience and knowledge and it was really helpful and interesting to hear about their travels. They kept in touch throughout our holiday and on our return I could see they had kept the house clean and tidy and looked after our belongings. John had even done some gardening. Susan had done some basic ration shopping and had prepared a lovely lunch for us, knowing we would be tired. We really enjoyed meeting John and Susan and can say we have not only had some reliable people to look after our home and pet, but we have made some really good friends who we will keep in touch with and I hope would come and visit again in the future. We would recommend John and Susan to anyone looking for house sitting or pet sitting. They were great! Thank you to both.

John and Susan did an absolutely outstanding job in caring for our home and dogs while we were on holiday. Specifically, they asked great/relevant and complete questions to ensure they were aware of what needed to be done, inquired about how to handle any unplanned situations or issues that could arise, kept in regular communication with us and lastly we arrived home to happy dogs and a clean house. The icing on the cake was that they had stocked our refrigerator with some staples so we did not have to worry about dinner after our journey back to Phoenix - which was a VERY thoughtful gesture and thank them both again for taking care of our home/pets. Needless to say - we would highly recommend John and Susan to anyone looking for a top notch home and/or pet sitter!

John and Sue are my first Trusted Housesitters. I liked both of them instantly. We chatted on Skype for over an hour. They fitted what I wanted for looking after my pets and home. After I chose them they sent me a very long questionnaire about my home and my pets. They thought of everything with regards to information about us, our home, our pets, the surrounding area. They arrived two days before I left. They jumped right in with helping around the house and with the cats and dogs. They cooked an evening meal the day I was leaving and drove me to the airport. While I was away they kept in constant communication and sent photos. Hurricane Michael hit the Florida Panhandle and a friend of mine made an appeal for supplies for her family who had been badly affected. I asked them to go buy some supplies on my behalf and deliver to her home which they did without hesitation and even made a donation to my friend. The house was spotless when I got home. They picked me up from the airport. They also stocked some food for me in the refrigerator and bought me a lovely house plant. They made dinner for me the day I arrived home which was amazing. I have no hesitation in recommending John and Sue as house sitters. I hope that I will be able to get them to agree to stay in the future at my home. They are my new BFF forever!

I was delighted to have John and Susan stay at my house. Blue enjoyed their company and he was fit and happy when I returned. The house looked cleaner and tidier than when I left. They were the most thoughtful and kind house guests. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

As our first time using house sitters, we were delighted and reassured to have found Susan and John Greet. They are extremely experienced and professional, and made us feel very confident throughout the process. On our return home, food had been prepared and we found the house exactly as we had left it. Our cat had been well cared for and was content. We would be more than happy to use their services again, and have no hesitation in recommending them to others. *We have done this sit multiple times for Stephanie & Julian.

One could not ask for better house/pet sitters. The Greets were professional, organized, generous and kind. Our house was spotless and Sebastian Jack Russell was a very happy dog who we are sure never missed his breakfast cookie or the walk he decided to take.

Many thanks to Susan and John for organizing their coming to us the way they did. They arrived the day before our departure which gave us the time getting to discover each other, sharing about our lives, passions and interests. It is very special to invite at your home table people you never met. With Susan and John we immediately felt comfortable and in trust. They are an elegant couple, discrete and rich of life experiences. We also appreciated receiving regular feedback of home while we were away. Susan is a fairy and the house was totally perfect at our return with a special touch of welcoming back, our dinner ready on the table. How wonderful ! .... and last but not least Pacha was quiet, peaceful and seemed very happy. We are sure he got full of attention and cares from both Susan and John while we were away. Grateful and happy for this meeting, we very much look forward to welcoming them home again and hopefully very soon.

From our first virtual meeting we realized we were dealing with very experienced sitters. We arranged for them to arrive before our departure so they could meet the dogs and get comfortable. From that moment we had no concerns with leaving them to look after our home and furry friends. We found Susan and John to be excellent communicators, making the arrangements very straight forward and we received regular updates and pictures during our absence. We returned to an immaculate house and very contented dogs. To top this, a lovely spicy :-)) dish was cooking in the oven when we returned. It was an absolute pleasure having John and Susan house sit for us. On this occasion they did not look after our dogs as they came on holiday with us. John and Susan communicated extremely well, arrived a day in advance to go through everything with us and kept in touch regularly while we were away. They identified a small plumbing issue while we were away and helped us rectify the problem quickly. We arrived home to a very clean house as well as fresh fruit in the fridge! John and Susan were very responsible and took great care to ensure everything was ok with our house. We really felt it was in good loving hands while we were away. We'd highly recommend John & Susan and hope to see them again in the future.

Susan and John Greet stayed at our house in Fairfax City, Virginia, for 10 days to watch our somewhat high-strung 70 lb Lab mix dog. Not only did Susan and John become her dog whisperers but they tended to our garden and caught a pesky rodent in our compost pile. We can't say enough wonderful things about their stay, how reassured we were with their professionalism and attention to detail, and how well they took care of our beloved dog. Crème de la crème!

Hands-down John and Susan were masterful caring for Karma our 8 year old Airedale who has quite the personality.

They came a day early to review procedures and get acquainted with the house. They were exceptionally thorough, asked a lot of questions to gain clarify and to ensure expectations were met. And they were, in fact, they exceeded expectations!

They managed Karma as if they were an extension of me. They sat with her in the middle of the night for hours during a thunderstorm. They cleaned and bathed her after she rolled in poop. They played relentless search games with her and took her for long walks daily. She looked like a happy girl in all the pictures.

When we arrived back home, the house and gardens were immaculate. The plants were thriving quite well.

John and Susan are amazing individuals all around They are fun to converse with, comfortable and easy to get along with, interested and interesting people. I highly recommend them for any kind of a sit with or without pets.
